pay.com.au supports international payments in a few ways. The simplest is to pay directly through pay.com.au and earn PayRewards Points on every transfer. Or, if you already use Airwallex or OFX, you can fund those accounts through pay.com.au to earn points on those payments too.
Option 1 — Pay internationally through pay.com.au (recommended)
pay.com.au has built-in international payment functionality with competitive exchange rates and no international transaction fees added on top. You earn PayRewards Points on every transfer, just like a domestic payment.
To make an international payment through pay.com.au
- 1 Confirm International Payments are Enabled in Settings > Payments. See how to enable International Payments.
- 2 Go to Payees and confirm your international payee is active. See how to add an international payee.
- 3 Go to Make a Payment, select your international payee and complete the payment. See how to make an international payment.
Visa, Mastercard, or linked bank account. AMEX cannot be used for international payments.
Option 2 — Earn points on Airwallex transfers
If you use Airwallex for international payments, you can fund your Airwallex account through pay.com.au to earn PayRewards Points on the transfer.
- 1 Log into pay.com.au and go to Payees > Add Payee
- 2 Enter the details for your Australian Airwallex bank account, using Airwallex's ABN: 37 609 653 312
- 3 Enter your Airwallex incoming AUD bank details — find these inside your Airwallex account under Receive funds
- 4 Go to Make a payment > Supplier payment > Enter manually
- 5 Select your Airwallex payee and complete the payment using an accepted payment method

Option 3 — Earn points on OFX transfers
If you use OFX for international payments, follow the steps below to fund your OFX transfer through pay.com.au and earn PayRewards Points on it.
Step 1 — Create an OFX account
Register via this link to access preferential FX rates and $0 OFX transfer fees.
Step 2 — Add OFX as a payee in pay.com.au
- 1 Log into pay.com.au and go to Payees > Add Payee
- 2 Enter OFX's Australian bank account details, using OFX's ABN: 65 092 375 703
- 3 Enter OFX's incoming AUD bank details — you'll find these in your OFX account or by contacting OFX support
Step 3 — Lock in your transfer with OFX
- 4 Log into OFX and confirm your transfer — select the currency, amount, and recipient
- 5 OFX will email you a deal confirmation with a transaction/deal number and full payment instructions
Step 4 — Fund the transfer from pay.com.au
- 6 Go to Make a payment > Supplier payment > Enter manually in pay.com.au
- 7 Select your OFX payee
- 8 Enter the exact AUD amount from your OFX deal confirmation, and include your OFX deal transaction number in the payment reference field
- 9 Complete the payment using an accepted payment method
Visa, Mastercard, and bank transfers are all accepted for OFX transfers.
