International Payments Transaction Status
Every international payment has a UETR (Unique End-to-end Transaction Reference). It is a code that identifies your payment. You and your payee can use it to follow the payment without contacting us.
Find your UETR
- Go to Payments > Outgoing transactions.
- Select the international payment.
- On the Details tab, find Payment details.
- Copy the UETR.
When the UETR appears
The UETR shows only after we remit your payment. Before then, the field does not show.
If you made the payment before 28 October 2026 and we have not yet remitted it, the UETR shows after we remit it. We do not add a UETR to payments we remitted before that date.
Share the UETR with your payee
We include the UETR in the remittance email we send to your payee. You can also copy it from your payment details and send it to them.
Track your payment
Search for "UETR tracking" online to find a public tracking tool. Enter the UETR. The tool shows the amount, the status and the location of the payment.
Third-party tools
Public UETR tracking tools are not run by pay.com.au or by our FX partner. We do not endorse any one tool.
Common questions
Why does my payment not show a UETR?
The UETR shows only after we remit the payment. Open the Updates tab to see the current step. If you made the payment before 28 October 2026 and we have not yet remitted it, the UETR shows after we remit it. If we remitted the payment before 28 October 2026, it does not show a UETR. Contact support if you need help.
Do domestic payments have a UETR?
No. A UETR exists only for international payments.
Can I track my payment inside pay.com.au?
Not with the UETR. Use the Updates tab to see the steps we control. Use a public tracking tool to follow the payment after we send it.
Can I download an MT103 confirmation?
Not in the platform. The UETR is on the MT103, so the UETR is often enough as proof of tracking. If you need the formal document, contact support.
