PayID lets you make same-day payments directly from your bank account without linking it to your Wallet. It works for supplier and payroll payments — entered manually, uploaded via ABA file, or imported from Xero.
PayID only supports payments for today's date. Scheduled, recurring, and payments requiring authorisation (e.g. Operator-submitted payments) are not supported. If importing from Xero, you can only select one payment at a time.
Part 1 — In pay.com.au
- 1 Go to Make a Payment.
- 2 Select your payment type — Supplier or Payroll. Watch: supplier payment demo | Watch: payroll payment demo
- 3 Select Enter manually, Import from ABA, or Import from Xero.
- 4 Enter or import your payment details. Set the payment date to Now or today's date.
- 5 Select PayID as the payment method.
- 6 Choose your PayRewards preference.
- 7 Continue to Review and authorise.
- 8 Copy your PayID Email, Amount, and Reference. You can find these again later in Transactions if needed.
Part 2 — In your banking app
- 9 Log in to your online banking or open your banking app.
- 10 Select Pay Anyone or Pay Someone (your bank may not specifically mention PayID or Osko).
- 11 Select email address as the payment type.
- 12 Enter your account's unique PayID email address. For future payments, you can select it from your bank's saved payees.
- 13 Enter the payment amount.
- 14 Enter the reference in the Reference or Description field.
- 15 Confirm all details are correct and submit the payment.
PayID payments must be authorised and funds transferred before 2pm AEST/AEDT, Mon–Fri for same-day processing. If we don't receive the funds within 25 hours, the payment will be cancelled and you'll need to create it again with a new reference. Some banks may hold your first payment to a new PayID for up to 24 hours — if this happens, the payment will be remitted the next business day.
