Adding and deleting payment methods

👤 All account owners and administrators

Add a payment method

Credit card

  • 1 In the main menu, select Wallet.
  • 2 Select Add New > Card.
  • 3 Enter your card details.
  • 4 Select Add Card. You may be prompted to enter a one-time password sent to your card's banking app or via SMS — enter it and click Confirm.
  • 5 Your card is now added and ready to use.

Bank account

Using PayID instead?

If you're paying via PayID, you don't need to link a bank account to your Wallet. See How do I make a payment with PayID?

  • 1 In the main menu, select Wallet.
  • 2 Select Add and choose Bank Account.
  • 3 Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your account via Basiq, our Open Banking provider. Learn more about Basiq.
  • 4 (Same-day payments with PayTo only) Set a transaction limit. This must be less than your bank's daily PayTo limit — contact your bank to confirm. You can make unlimited payments as long as each individual payment is under this limit. Check PayTo bank availability.

  • 5 

    Select Continue.
    • If your account is PayTo-enabled: you'll see instructions to accept the agreement in your banking app.
    • If your account is not PayTo-enabled: follow the prompts to add your account for standard processing via Basiq.

  • 6 On success, your account will appear in your PayWallet and be ready for payments.

Double-check your details

Make sure all card or account information is correct before saving. pay.com.au is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect information being entered.

Delete a payment method

  • 1 In the main menu, select Wallet.
  • 2 Click the menu (⋮) on the payment method you want to remove.
  • 3 Select Delete > Confirm Delete.
