A remittance advice is generated and sent via email once your payment has successfully been released from pay.com.au. This occurs when funds settle into our bank account from your nominated payment method. Payments can only be released after this process is complete, and a remittance advice cannot be generated prior to that.
When is a remittance advice sent to your payees?
- Our platform can automatically email remittance advice to your payees, provided their email address is saved in their profile in your Payees list.
- A remittance advice is sent to your payee as soon as the payment is remitted.
If you prefer not to have the remittance advice sent to your payee(s) directly from pay.com.au, you can disable this feature by navigating to Settings > Notifications and toggling the option off.

When is a remittance advice emailed to you?
A copy of the remittance advice will be automatically emailed to you on the same day the payment is remitted, typically around 7 PM AET (Sydney/Melbourne).
