Yes — when you make a payment through pay.com.au, remittance advice is automatically emailed to your payee once the payment is remitted, provided their email address is saved in their payee profile.
Payee email address required
Remittance is only sent to your payee if their email is on file. If it isn't saved, the remittance email goes to you only.
To add a payee email: go to Payees, find the payee, click Edit, and enter their email address.
Remittance advice is sent once your payment has been successfully released from pay.com.au. You'll also receive a copy by email on the same day, typically around 7pm AEST/AEDT. You can also download remittance advice directly from your Outgoing Transactions table.
If you'd prefer to send remittance advice to your payees yourself, you can turn off automatic sending. Go to Settings > Notifications and toggle the option off.
For processing times by payment method, see Payment processing timelines.
