When the fee is charged
Your fee is only charged when your customer pays the invoice in full inside the payment window. Payment is detected automatically via your Xero connection.
Nothing is charged if your customer pays late, pays partially, or doesn't pay at all.
A tax invoice for the charge will be emailed to you. If you don't receive one after your first successful charge, let us know.
How the fee is calculated
| Earn rate you set | Fee (ex GST) | Example on a $1,000 invoice (inc GST) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 point per $1 | 1% | $11.00 |
| 2 points per $1 | 2% | $22.00 |
| 3 points per $1 | 3% | $33.00 |
| 4 points per $1 | 4% | $44.00 |
| 5 points per $1 | 5% | $55.00 |
What your customer receives
When you send an offer, your customer gets an email from pay.com.au on your behalf showing the invoice number and total, points on offer, and the payment deadline.
If they pay in time, they receive a follow-up email confirming their points are ready to claim.
How your customer claims their points
Your customer needs a free PayRewards account to access their points. The points-credited email includes a link to sign up or log in.
If they already have a pay.com.au account and the email address on the invoice matches their account, points are credited automatically.
If they're new to PayRewards, they need to sign up using the same email address the offer was sent to.
Encourage them to claim as soon as they receive the confirmation email.
Does Faster Cashflow change anything in Xero?
No. Faster Cashflow reads your sales invoices and contact emails from Xero but never writes anything back. Your Xero data is not affected.
