You can connect Xero during sign-up to pre-fill your business details, or connect it later from your account settings.

Connect Xero during sign-up

When you sign up for pay.com.au, Xero is offered as an option to speed up onboarding. If you connect, your address, website, industry, and revenue are pulled from Xero so you can review and confirm rather than fill in a form.

• 1 Enter your ABN and entity type on the first step of sign-up.
• 2 Select Connect Xero when the option appears.
• 3 Review the pre-auth information. This explains what pay.com.au will fetch from Xero, that you can pull bills and invoices into the platform later, and that your information is never shared outside the platform. Select Continue to proceed.
• 4 Log into Xero and select the organisation you want to connect.
• 5 Select Allow Access.
• 6 Review the pre-filled details on the next page. Each field sourced from Xero is labelled From Xero — you can edit any field before continuing. Your ABN and entity type are locked while Xero is connected.
• 7 Confirm your details and continue with the rest of sign-up.

Connect Xero from your account settings

Already signed up? You can connect Xero at any time from your account settings.

• 1 Log into pay.com.au
• 2 Go to Settings > Integrations.
  
  
• 3 On the Xero card, click Connect.
• 4 Read the information displayed and proceed to Login to Xero.
• 5 Once you've logged into Xero, select the Xero organisation you'd like to connect to.
  
  
• 6 Select Allow Access.
• 7 Your pay.com.au account is now connected to Xero.

Disconnect Xero

• 1 Go to Settings > Integrations.
• 2 Click Disconnect.
• 3 Click Disconnect again on the following pop-up window to confirm.
