There are two ways to log into pay.com.au. We recommend setting up both — they take minutes and mean you'll never get locked out.
Login methods
Recommended
Passkey
Log in using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN — no password needed. Fastest and most secure option.
Username & password + MFA
Log in with your email and password, then verify with an MFA method: passkey, authenticator app, or SMS code.
Set up both for a reliable fallback. If SMS isn't available (overseas, poor signal, or filtered as spam), you'll still be able to log in with a passkey or authenticator app.
Not receiving your SMS code?
SMS verification codes are occasionally filtered as spam. Check the following based on your device:
Android Messages
- Open the Messages app
- Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner)
- Select Spam & blocked
- Look for the verification message
Google Messages
- Open the Google Messages app
- Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner)
- Select Spam & blocked
- Check for any messages from pay.com.au
Apple iOS
- Open the Messages app and tap Filters
- Tap Spam
- Find and open the verification message
Locked out?
If you can't receive an SMS code and have no other MFA method set up, contact our support team. We can help you regain access.
