How to take clear photos when verifying your identity

When onboarding your business, we verify your identity to ensure someone else is not impersonating you. Follow the prompts to capture your ID and selfie, but to ensure we have clear enough photos to verify your identity, keep the following tips in mind:

• Try placing your ID flat on a steady table.
• Ensure any text on transperant sections is readable.
• Hold the camera parallel to your face and ID, avoiding angled views.
• Please avoid glares, shadows or using flash.
• Do your best to capture in-focus images.
• Take the photos in a room with good, even lighting.
• Avoid having anything in the foreground or background of your photos.
